There’s Always Room for Gelato
Have you ever been to Paciugo for gelato? It is delightful. During our recent Dallas home shopping spree (pre-Home Spending Hiatus), we took a break to indulge.
We went in for gelato and I came out inspired. I loved the atmosphere of Paciugo.
The wall behind the counter was clad with the most amazing tile waterfalling down the wall. I am now convinced I want to mount the glass subway tile in our new basement bathroom shower vertically.
The drum shade lights were classic, yet fun with the candy colored diffusers. I like how they use cieling medallions to give the lights more presence.
The bistro tables had stone tops and the cutest pedestals. The boys were quite well behaved, legs dangling off the chairs, while they enjoyed their gelato, or as my two year old would say gela-la-lado.
In case you are wondering, the favors we enjoyed we’re wedding cake and bubble gum.
About half way through the melting gelato, I noticed the saying on the cup. It made me chuckle.

This was a great post. The look on your boys’ face is precious! We had Gelato cake over Labor Day weekend at my folks cookout. We have 4 August birthdays and usually celebrate them Labor Day weekend. The Gelato cake was divine…Hazelnut this time. So rich and creamy. They make other flavors as well. Yum! I have also been known to take photos of restaurant and store decor. To me, the surroundings are all part of the experience!
did you know that they have one of these @ the MOA? Well, at least the last time I was there they did. sooooo good! nice to have one here in MN!
Misty, I had no idea. Honestly, we rarely go to MOA and when we do we don’t stay too long. The next time we are there we will have to look for Paciugo.
