This giveaway is now closed.  The winner was Robin with the Sunshine and Lemonade Screen Porch.

First of all, thank you all for the wonderful comments and support for Teal & Lime Interiors and Teal & Lime Market.   This has definitely been a fun week, and I appreciate you letting me be all business for a little bit :)  I will be back to regular posts and some awesome DIY projects next week.

I want to end this week on a high note….with another GIVEAWAY!  I say another, because you can already head over to House*Tweaking to enter to win the The Mood Board Service (Blows my mind that over 375 people have entered so far!).  Now, right here on Teal & Lime, I am giving away The Pin Board service.  But, you’ve got to name your board for a chance to win!

officeboard

Naming boards is a big deal for me.  Sometimes I will mull over the perfect name for days.  Often times the name is inspired by something I learned about the client in their style questionnaire.  Other times I use a style descriptor to articulate a combination of styles the client likes.  Each name is unique.  As much as I know my clients by name, I know them by their board names, which represent their style, the feeling they want for their room, or their likes.

To enter for a chance to win The Pin Board service for one room in your home:

  • Take a look at over 100 mood boards in the Teal & Lime Portfolio.  Notice each has a unique name that is creative, catchy, or has a style descriptor.  Each name also includes the room type.
  • Now, think of which room you would love to have my help with and come up with an amazing, unique name for your board.  The name must include the room type.
  • Leave a comment on this post and tell me what you would name your board by 11:59pm CDT on Friday May 24th.

I will choose my favorite board name and email the winner to claim their prize.  Only one entry per person.  The winner will receive a custom Pin Board with decor, furniture and DIY recommendations to makeover their room.  Winner must reply to my email within one week, which will include filling out the style questionnaire and providing pictures of your room.  Of course, I will share the completed Pin Board on the blog in a few weeks.

Happy naming!!!

    How about “The Lived-in, Loved-On, Modern & Bright Mid-Century Living Room”?! Yeah it’s a mouthful. :)

Hey, when you have a one year old crazy boy you just have to accept that rooms are going to look lived-in and loved-on (which makes this mama’s heart happy), but I would still like a little bit of style in there too!

  5. Sarah says:

    Little Dude’s Midcentury Nursery

I absolutely adore reading your blog, and I love (and am so inspired by) your style! My husband and I are both music teachers, and we’re stymied by the room where we have our piano. In my dreams, I think of it as the “Warm and Vibrant Music Room.” In reality, it contains our piano, a few IKEA shelves that hold our music books, and some miscellaneous hand-me-down furniture from family. I have no idea how to make it the cohesive, inviting space that I dream it could be, and I would love for you to work your magic with it!

  8. Rebecca L says:

ohhhh, this was so fun to look at all the boards and dream! Mine is:

  15. Elizabeth G says:

    Cozy and comfortable musician’s office!

  16. What a fun challenge! I wish I could send you ten names, but I keep coming back to something that reflects the town where I met my future husband, New Orleans.

    “Laissez les bons temps rouler”

This is the unofficial motto of New Orleans. It means “Let the good times roll” and brings to mind the easy, fun-loving (and a bit saucy) way of life in the Dirty South. If “Shabby Chic” were a person, “Laissez les bons temps” would be her scandalous sister that wears too much lipstick and flirts with everyone’s husband. This room would work as a bedroom, but we’d love a living room that reflected this style. Boozy, loungey, a bit European, and all southern.

  17. Ginny says:

The “Linger awhile over dinner” dining room. I would love to create a stylish and comfortable dining room where my family (husband and two daughters plus golden retriever Josie) and friends could relax, eat, enjoy each other and linger. Love your style.

  18. Katy says:

Our master bedroom could use a major dose of style and interest, but I like our room to be serene and calming. So…

    **Stylishly Serene Master Bedroom**

(of course, I really should name any room board for us “This Could Work Anywhere” since we move every few years being a military family!)

  19. Robin Warzywak says:

    Sunshine and Lemonade Screen Porch

We have an amazing screen porch in our new house. It would be fun and summery to kick it up with some yellow accents.

  20. Michelle says:

    Momma and Boy’s Rockin’ Office

Newly separteted and with a newly open office, I would like to have an office/homework area for my 2 boys and I.

  22. Lisa says:

Wow. That’s a tough one. I can see why it takes you awhile to figure out names. My bedroom is in need of some Hollywood Glamour with a touch of Art Deco.
    It could be called:
    Holly and Art Meet
    in the Bedroom

  23. Lori says:

Sophisticated rustic and classic living room. Help!

  24. Cortney says:

    Cozy Retreat Master Bedroom

  25. jessvii says:

Mine mood board name would be either “Fresh and Fabulous Entryway” or “Dreary to Cheery Entryway”.

It’s a small space, but it’s the first thing guests see and the first thing we see when we come home. I see a lot of peppy, bright foyers, mud rooms, and entryways in magazines, but I have no idea how to make it mine and improve this trouble spot.

  26. Casey says:

I am struggling with planning our basement playroom/tv/family room. I want it to be happy, colorful, not overly childish, but most importantly safe for my special needs daughter. As for a title, how about Happy and Safe Family Room.

  27. melissa says:

After many many years of waiting, we finally purchased our first home in our dream neighborhood. In our rental, there was only so much decorating and customizing we could do. I’m very excited to use Teal & Lime as my go to resource for turning our house into a home. For the first project I would love to create a Comfy Mid Century Modern master retreat.

  28. Brynn says:

    “Livable Living Room”

I need something that can be cleaned up easily, and can let a toddler and newborn (and a husband) use it!

  29. Tiffany says:

Spunky shared bedroom. My son and daughter have to share a room and it has been difficult. The are three and five

  30. Jennifer says:

Honeymoon Getaway Master Retreat. We went to St. Lucia for our honeymoon and got a map of the islands. I had it framed and it is displayed over the bed. I’ve always loved the teal and tan colors in it and tried to have a relaxing bedroom but it is boring and needs inspiration. 11 years and 3 kids later I want a Master Retreat that makes me feel like I walked right into a honeymoon suite!

  31. Laura says:

I have been lurking for some time now and I love your style! I have a smallish bedroom that I desperately need your help for! I would call my mood board: Lavendar Chevron Stripe Obsessed Modern Bedroom… Clearly I love chevron stripes. I love purple. I have no idea what color to put with purple though… That’s my challenge… Everything is too monochromatic right now.

Thanks for sharing your home and ideas with us!

  32. Brooke says:

We moved into our house over 6 years ago, when I was pregnant with our first child. I have worked on every room except our master. I have never put the time in for me and my husband. We know in our hearts that our family starts with our love – and we would so enjoy a place to reconnect and make time for us. It is a top priority for us to show our boys know how much we love each other and making the time to spend together would help. Now we just need the perfect place to do that :)
Our bedroom would be “Relax and Reconnect Master Bedroom Retreat”

  33. I am working on our living/dining room which is one big open space where we sit together, read, play games, do homework, watch TV, play instruments, eat…
I want it to be very homely, comfortable. ;)
As we’re Germans I’d call it “our gemuetlich gathering place” :)
    Jule

  34. Jayme P says:

    Modern-glam great room :-)

  35. Sarah says:

    Safari Chic Master Bedroom

I’m imaging a light and airy master bedroom retreat with soothing colors, British colonial touches, and travel inspired items. Unfortunately, I just can’t figure out how to pull it all together. Fingers crossed that you like the sound of this board!
    Sarah

  36. Hillary says:

Philosophy Professor’s Office Turned Baby Room. In other words, help.

  37. Stefanie says:

A mancave even a woman would love, a basement redo.

My hubby spends a lot of time in the basement, I would love to give him a space for him mainly (we have 4 kiddos running around too!) but one that I won’t cringe to walk into to give him the occasional smooch and ask how’s the game going :D

  38. Katie Harmount says:

I need your help! We moved into our home 9 months ago, but I can’t seem to get our family room to come together. Most of the main furniture has been purchased already, so I’d name my board “the devil’s in the details family room.”

    Thanks!
    Katie

  39. Cathyloren says:

  44. Becky Smith says:

We can use alot of help revamping the living room. Love that The Great Gatsby is coming out to theaters. Decor from that time period is so posh. But I also love that Southern hospitality of Charleston and Savannah. So I would name mymood board The Southern Gatsby combine bo of their charms.

  45. Kara says:

Love the Cottage Modern Living Room. Such a great giveaway!

  46. Lara says:

  48. Erin says:

    “Living” the Salt Life

For the living room, of course!

  49. Ashley says:

Since I found out I’m pregnant, all I can think of is how we’re transforming the guest room into a nursery. I’m not really into a “theme-y” nursery, so I’ve been browsing mood boards for inspiration!

I’m envisioning an Eclectic Spectrum Nursery. Something that has colorful (in a tasteful way), unexpected pieces mixed and matched into a fun space for a little one.

  50. Lori says:

With two littles plus a full-time job, I’d love to have a soothing, calm, relaxing master bedroom to be able to unwind in after a long day.

As for a name: Relax and Rejuvenate Master Bedroom

  51. Stacie Walker says:

My next room to redo in our house is my son’s playroom, and I have gone back & forth on ideas/themes for it. It needs to be a place that is full of fun! I am leaning towards a “Vintage Circus” themed playroom & would LOVE your help!

  52. Sonja says:

    Naturally Bohemian (tiny) guest room

  53. Jodi says:

How sweet of you for this giveaway! Thank you! Our next room to focus on is our Sunny Sunroom – Sitting room! Would LOVE your ideas as it is longer than it is wide and there are french doors right in the middle on one wall. Thanks again.

  54. Ginger says:

“Romantically Masculine Master Bedroom Retreat” – I prefer more masculine deep jewel tones but would love a bit a romance and whimsy in a space all to our own to escape to at the end of each day.

  55. Nicte' Tall says:

“Fun around the World” – Living Room. My husband and I love to go on vacation to all sort of different towns, countries, beaches, etc. We always get some sort of “local craft” to remind us of the fun times we had. I would love to incorporate all those memories in my living room. Fun!!!! :)

  56. Erin Bettis says:

    Contemporary American Southwest Family Room

I just bought the blue/white Moroccon rug that you have in your home. I’d love some ideas to bring my vision to life.
